We had another wonderful experience at 42 Degrees North on Friday Night. We had friends visiting from NY and waned to have some awesome seafood. The four of us started out splitting the Crab cakes, Calamari and Eggplant Napoleon. The crab cakes were all crab with very little stuffing and lightly breaded, excellent. The Calamari was crunchy but tender on the inside, delicious! The eggplant was also delicious.
On to the main courses- I had the grilled Swordfish for my entrée- nice smokey crust on the outside but sweet and moist on the inside, the risotto was smooth and creamy, I asked for no bacon (it was Friday in Lent), and the Brussel sprouts were perfect.
My wife had the Tuna special- amazingly large piece of tuna, perfectly seared with an awesome Asian crust and sauce along with a wonderful rice dish and a cauliflower that was crispy and had a little spice to it.
My good friend had the fried fisherman's platter-he's a big guy with a good appetite and he could not finish it. It was very fresh and fried to perfection, along with crispy fries and a side of Cole slaw. His wife had the Pan seared salmon and was also amazed with the size of the piece and that it was perfectly prepared along with the asparagus.
Arthur was our server and took very good care of us on a very busy night. Excellent service, excellent presentation, all around delicious time. We look forward to returning soon!
