I was excited to try 42 Degrees North knowing the owner clearly does a great job at his other restaurants. I was not disappointed.
First, the drinks. I need to figure out how to replicate the apple cinnamon mule. I like Moscow mules to begin with, but this one was very different. I wish they gave you more (comes in almost a mini copper mule mug) but I suppose it won't stop me from ordering multiples.
For apps, we tried the poutine (canucks would be proud) and calamari. Both excellent. Main course was the Pest Chicken Pappardelle. I had forgotten how gigantic pappardelle is, but it was necessary to soak up the enormous amount of flavor (butter, pesto, pistachio, garlic, oil) in this dish. Portions are pretty big, so I had lunch for the next day.
I've been here a few times since we moved to Plymouth and they will definitely become a staple for us for years to come.
